(Pueblo-AP) -- A man whose three-and-a-half month old daughter died of head trauma could face a charge of child abuse.
Authorities say Juanita Minjarez died Tuesday night at Children's Hospital in Denver and her father, 23-year-old John Mario Minjarez was being held on $250,000 bond after being arrested on a warrant for child abuse.
Minjarez had called 9-1-1 Sunday to report that Juanita was not breathing and was bleeding from her mouth.
Minjarez told Pueblo police officer Randall Ramos he heard a scream and found the baby in a baby bouncer that had tipped over onto the floor.
