Incoming University of Colorado president Hank Brown says he will review the investigations and lawsuits surrounding the football recruiting scandal to ensure nobody other than a handful of football players were involved.
Brown didn't call for a new investigation but says he will also talk with C-U staff and members of an investigative commission that probed the allegations. Brown says he wants to know all the facts and take any appropriate action when he takes over as C-U's acting president in August.
A grand jury and an independent commission appointed by the C-U's Board of Regents investigated the allegations. Both panels found some players used sex and alcohol to attract recruits, but provided no evidence that the school knew about it or condoned it.
