No sign of alcohol or drugs, but the Colorado State Patrol says it was a severe blow that killed 5 people in a head-on collision Monday near the town of Penrose.

State Patrol says 18 year-old Amanda Fox Freyta was driving about 100 miles an hour on Highway 115 when her car started veering to the right. She overcorrected and hit a pickup traveling in the opposite direction.

The crash instantly killed her passenger, Adam Boukhari of Colorado Springs.

Also dead... the driver of the truck, Chip Sprague, his 12 year-old son Jesse, and Lori Burghardt.
