Mistaken priorities?
Students from CU and CSU and an activist group question drug policy enforcement at the state's 2 schools.
They're trying to press officials to lighten up on marijuana use, claiming smoking pot is safer than drinking alcohol.
According to the National Institutes of Health, 1400 college students die every year because of alcohol while there has never been a death attributed to marijuana.
Students from both schools died last year from alcohol poisoning.
Supporters have signed petitions to put the measure up for a vote during student elections next month.
