The search has been called off for 3 kids who were missing after a massive explosion at a lodge in southwestern Colorado.
The explosion happened at the Electric Mountain Lodge in the town of Paonia late Saturday afternoon.
Although the cause of the explosion has not been confirmed, investigators believe it may have been triggered by a propane leak.
Delta County Sheriffs' Sgt. Fred McKee says 16 people were airlifted to a nearby hospital in Grand Junction with various injuries.
"They range from serious compound fractures to a person with some back injury... some concussions and smoke inhalation."
Police say the missing children were between 3 and 15 years-old, all from the same family.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigations will continue to look into the cause.
