Attempted Abduction

By  |

Twenty-nine-year-old Amy Jarmin parked her car in an alley behind her home Tuesday morning and was removing the boy from his car seat when a man approached.

He ordered her to hand over the baby, but Jarmin refused.

The suspect then tried to grab the boy, but Jarmin backed away and stomped on the suspect's foot. Two growling dogs quickly scared him off.

But Jarmin says she's scared the man wanted her son, and fears the suspect could come back.

He's described as a white male, late 30s to mid-40s, five-foot-nine to six-feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds, with dirty blond hair and a pony tail.

A $2,000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with knowledge of the incident or the suspect is being urged to contact Crimestoppers in Denver at (720) 913-STOP, or (720) 913-7867.
