A former employee of the Early Childhood Laboratory at Colorado State University is being extradited to New York to face child pornography charges.
Twenty-five-year-old Jan Rogers attended CSU and worked at the child care facilities from 1997 until spring 2002.
He was indicted October first in New York on four counts, including two counts of interstate advertising of child pornography, one count of distributing child pornography and one count of interstate transportation of child pornography.
The U.S. Marshal's Service in Denver wouldn't say whether Rogers had left Colorado yet.
University spokesman Tom Milligan says a background check on Rogers before he started working with children did not turn up a previous criminal record.
