When Congress does convene this week, it'll reveal how equal opportunity modern politics has become.

Capitol Hill, now, includes more women, Latinos, and African-Americans.

Latinos return to the Senate for the first time since the late 70's and include Colorado's own Ken Salazar and Mel Martinez of Florida. Latinos picked up one more House seat and now have 23.

Barack Obama of Illinois is the first African-American in the Senate in a quarter century. There are now 40 African-Americans in the House.

Sixty-five women are also in the House which is an increase of 4.
