A Fort Carson soldier will face an Article 32 hearing for alleged mistreatment of Iraqis on Monday.
Captain Shawn Martin is facing multiple charges for assault plus conduct unbecoming an officer. This stems from allegations involving "unauthorized treatment" of Iraqi individuals sometime between May and July 2003.
Captain Martin was a member of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at the time.
Another Fort Carson soldier, Sergeant 1st Class Ceola Turner, Jr., waived his right to an Article 32 hearing in the case.
