Man In Surgery After Shooting Outside Bar

One man is in custody after a shooting outside a Springs bar early Friday morning.

Michael Rice, 37, was arrested for attempted first-degree murder.

Police say a man was shot in the abdomen outside the Copperhead Road Bar, located on the 3330 block of North Academy. The shooting occurred after a fight between the two men inside the bar. The victim was in surgery Friday morning.

The incident occurred at 1:39 a.m.
