Friends and family turned out to remember a teenager whose life was cut short.
Nick Trout died last week after a night of partying with his friends.
The Florence High School senior had a blood alcohol level that was more than 3 times the legal limit.
An open-casket viewing was held before the memorial because Nick's family wanted other teens in Florence, such as sophomore Adrian Williams, to see the effects of underage drinking.
"Nick was a great guy and, I think to honor him and to show to him that we still love him and we still care about him, we won't drink anymore."
