Tree-Cycling Benefits El Paso County
Drop off your old Christmas trees for recycling on Saturday, January 5, and Sunday, January 6 at locations across El Paso County.

It is that time of year again, time to recycle your Christmas tree.
This year there are 7 convenient locations across El Paso county to drop off your undecorated tree.
The program began the weekend of December 29, and continues on January 5 and 6.
There is a suggested tax deductible donation of $5 per tree, which goes to support youth sports programs throughout the county.
The following locations, except Rocky Top Resources, will be open both weekends 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.:

Baptist Road Trailhead - Baptist Road & Old Denver Road
Cottonwood Creek Park - Dublin Boulevard & Montarbor Drive
Verizon Complex - 30th Street and Garden of the Gods Road
Memorial Park - Union Boulevard & Pikes Peak Avenue
Sky Sox Stadium - Barnes Road & Charlotte Parkway
Falcon Trailhead - Southwest of Woodmen Road & McLaughlin Road
Rocky Top Resources - 1755 East Las Vegas Street

Rocky Top will be open for Christmas Tree Recycling now through January 31, 2008.
Hours of operation are: Monday - Saturday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. It is closed Sundays and New Years Day.
Last season 2,322 trees were recycled.
