A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect at NOON and last through MIDNIGHT from most of Southern Colorado. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain once again. Burn scars and areas that saw heavy rain yesterday will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
Because of the ever-changing nature of the Hayman wildfire, we've linked our Web site to the U.S. Forest Services Web site. There you can find maps of the fire, evacuation notices and statistics on the wildfire.
Keep in mind, the Forest Service does not constantly update this information. For the latest evacuation information, tune in to 11 News and check out the information at the bottom of your television. screen.
