A Lewis-Palmer Middel School teacher who worked as a volleyball and basketball coach has been arrested for allegedly assaulting two female students.

According the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, Gregory Jackson was arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

Authorities say two female students claim Jackson touched them in "an inappropriate sexual manner" in his postion as basketball coach.

Jackson is being held in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on $25,000 bond.

Sheriff's officials say District 38 has placed Jackson on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

HI Blake it is me from chior. know you are on that is cool. how is yor vacation?

Posted by: Mark P. Location: Monument on Jun 2, 2008 at 03:29 PM
He is not coming back to school because no school will hire someone who has been accused of sexual assault, even if he is found innocent. That is really stupid, but Tupac said it best, "That's just the way it is."

Posted by: Blake Gogo Location: monument on Jun 1, 2008 at 12:37 AM
Hi jessica do I known you?

Posted by: jessica Location: monument on May 24, 2008 at 11:03 AM

Mark- you said hi to me... in the 2nd semester. and asked me if my dad was this person and i said no. Woot it is summer! Ah! sorry mark i forgot to get you to sign. Mr.Jackson is 83% inocent.

Posted by: Jessica Location: monumet on May 19, 2008 at 02:19 PM
I dont think he is coming back to this school because he would make a big imbarrisment of himself. even though he is leading to innocent i think he is not going to come back again.

Posted by: Thomas Location: Monument on May 15, 2008 at 08:46 PM
People who I've talked to have either felt uncomfortable around him, or thought he told sexist jokes. I can't say whether he's innocent or not, but if he's found innocent, his career may still be ruined. I don't really remember jokes the jokes he told while teaching us, but I remember that he apologized to what I assume was the whole blue team, when some of his students thought he had called them stupid, I think that says some about his character. He seemed like a pretty good guy. Hope he's innocent.

Posted by: Mark Location: P. on May 13, 2008 at 06:24 PM
Yeah, Amber, I've seen you before. I am pretty tall and I do wear a light blue jacket. When did I say hi in the hallway?

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on May 10, 2008 at 06:02 PM
Wow really? that means he might come back to our school. he might be a little embarresed. i wonder what will happen in the future

Posted by: jessica Location: monument on May 9, 2008 at 07:13 PM
yes he is what i know from other people. do you know that he is becoming more innocent than guilty?

Posted by: Amber on May 9, 2008 at 06:05 AM
wait...Mr.Jackson is in house arrested?

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on May 8, 2008 at 02:19 PM
Yeah, i agree turning in yourself is way smarter then not turning yourself in.

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on May 7, 2008 at 08:34 PM
Ah! sorry guys i forgot all about kktv. oh i know who you are mark, tall? sometimes where a blue jacket oh and said hi to me before in the hallway? 1st period math wow. im last period math

Posted by: Mark Location: P. on May 7, 2008 at 04:44 PM
Okay, y'all clearly don't know what it means to turn yourself in. Turning yourself in only means that the cops didn't have to come looking for you. Once Jackson was fired, he went to the police and told him he was the one they were looking for. Whether you turn yourself in or you don't, there is a warrant out for your arrest. They are going to find you either way; that is inevitable. You cannot deny that fact or run away from them long enough for them to stop searching. If the cops don't have to spend a lot of time looking for you, and you cooperate, they will most likely tell that to the judge. That could, depending on the judge, have a very good impact on the judges opinion of you, which in turn could lead to some very good results on whether you are found innocent or guilty. If the cops have to look for you for a long time, the word they give the judge won't be good, and that will also help decide whether you spend time in the slammer. So, in reality, it is smart to turn yourself in.

Hi blake what is up? i liked Mr. Harder alot better. he is more organized and he likes his job. did you know he is leaving next year? well the 6th grade math teacher is replaceing him.

Posted by: Mark Location: P. on May 3, 2008 at 03:41 PM
Mr. Jackson didn't seem like he actually liked teaching. People who don't like their jobs sometimes do what Jackson was accused of doing.

Posted by: Blake Gogo Location: Monument on Apr 26, 2008 at 01:50 AM
Not much Mark just hanging out and yea Mr.Harder is way cooler but Mr.Jackson still had no right to do what he did which is true and if he didnt do it why did he turn himself in

Posted by: Mark Location: P. on Apr 15, 2008 at 06:05 PM
I didn't dislike Jackson a lot, but i like mr. Harder a lot. He's really cool, and hes a really good teacher. I'm glad he was the replacement. By the way, what's up, Blake?

Posted by: Blake Gogo Location: Monument on Apr 10, 2008 at 09:47 PM
Mr.Harder is way cooler then Mr. Jackson the perv

Posted by: Mark Location: P. on Apr 9, 2008 at 04:03 PM

Posted by: Mark Location: Monument on Mar 25, 2008 at 01:04 PM
I dont think anyone even like Mr. Jackson... every other day he'd tell us he'd gotten stood up on a date.

okay know i now how i am talking to on here. ya i have not heared any evedence luke. just he is in house arrest.

Posted by: Luke on Mar 22, 2008 at 05:00 PM
Jessica Todd- This is Luke Maxwell...

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on Mar 21, 2008 at 04:39 PM
Luke- i agree with your statement, i belive he will have to pay i $20-35,000 bond for what he did. i think within all the evidence police have collected he will be Quilty, for turing him self in for one thing, but... he has touched me on the shoulder 2 times And i hope he did not enjoy touching me on the shoulder. * cough *

Posted by: jessica Location: monument on Mar 21, 2008 at 04:15 PM
Luke- I agree what you said. I think that through the news he is innocent now from what i have heard but, i dont know. Is this Luke Maxwell that i am talking to or Luke P. i am just making sure. O_o

Posted by: Amber on Mar 21, 2008 at 06:24 AM
Wow lots of people are still posting on here about Mr.Jakson...anyways quess what! i looked on like 9 news and they were talking about him!

Posted by: Amber on Mar 21, 2008 at 06:22 AM
mark-LOL really? Mr.Jackson was always nice to me and jessica...now i know why

Posted by: Jessica Location: monument on Mar 20, 2008 at 08:07 PM
wow u guys this has been a very long discation. I hope they say something on the news saying he is innocent. i dont know if he is going to come back though. Is he on house arrest. that is what i have heard.

Posted by: Luke on Mar 20, 2008 at 07:03 PM
Jessica- My oppion is that Mr.Jackson most likely will pay a $ 25,000 bond for what he did. And might be proven inoccent but still be in jail/prison for about 2 years even though inoccent but will pay for nasty words and jokes about girls. and touching girls on the shoulders and/or staring on inappropite places. But most hands point to GUILTY because even him self had turn himself saying he has done something wrong. But i think within the criminal justice of the crime he is innocent. i looked on the news and he is on house arrest

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on Mar 20, 2008 at 06:47 PM
My E-mail is crystalteen_vp@yahoo.com ( no caps) Jessica e-mail me we need to talk about the crime.... or if anyone eles has info. about the crime e-mail da me. - Amber

I was in first period math. i swear that guy had somehting against me.

Posted by: Amber on Mar 19, 2008 at 03:18 PM
Mark/Jessica Mr.Jackson went to a court ( without it being posted on tv) and i quess he is going to another court or something. mark- well i didnt really know if this would happen but the things he said to insult us girls was pretty unmature for a teacher to say those stuff. ok jessica is in my class and mark what period math class are you in?

Posted by: Amber on Mar 19, 2008 at 03:14 PM
Mark i totally agree with that. even his jokes were nasty

Posted by: mark on Feb 14, 2008 at 06:52 PM
was he found innocent or guilty???

Posted by: Mark on Feb 14, 2008 at 06:48 PM
And, he always said a lot of really sexist jokes in class against girls. I knew that this would happen.

Posted by: Mark on Feb 14, 2008 at 06:46 PM
He said things like "I'm never going to want a grilfriend because you girls get worse as you get older." That's definitely not an appropriate thing to say to a girl in middle school. It's a little too personal and insulting.

Posted by: Jessica Location: monument on Feb 13, 2008 at 04:04 PM
Mr. Jackson goes to court tomarrow so dod you think he is innocent or guilty?

Posted by: Anonymous on Feb 2, 2008 at 06:16 PM
was i love you the only thing that he said in your class? or did he say other things. because in last period me and amber had Mr. Jackson he said some stuff that where pretty gross. Like he would make up jokes about girls.

Posted by: Jessica Todd Location: Monument on Feb 1, 2008 at 09:55 PM
well mark what kind of stuff did he say in your class? who is in your class

Posted by: Mark P. Location: Monument on Jan 23, 2008 at 03:14 PM
Amber, the worst you ever heard him say was I love you? That's horrible for a teacher to say that to a 12-13 year old girl. That's flirting! No wonder he is being accused of this.

Posted by: Mark P. Location: monument on Jan 23, 2008 at 03:10 PM
There is no doubt in my mind that he did it. I knew this was going to happen, and now it finally did.......

Posted by: Jessica Location: monument on Jan 16, 2008 at 07:26 AM
hi well do you think he is guilty or innocent?

Posted by: salmon witch trial detector Location: salmon on Jan 14, 2008 at 04:58 PM
yeah, that "salmon" witch trial was a real tragedy.........

Posted by: jessica Location: monument on Jan 7, 2008 at 06:09 PM
hi what do you think that he is guilty or innocent?

Posted by: Mark on Jan 2, 2008 at 06:17 PM
Alright, let's staart acting mature. Everyone posting comments is so sure that Mr. Jackson didn't do it. How are you so sure? Just because he doesn't seem like the kind of person that would do that, doesn't mean he didn't. There are sides to people that are rarely seen. I think everyone should just calm down and wait to see if he is found guilty or innocent.

Posted by: ???? Location: LPMS on Dec 28, 2007 at 09:50 PM
I heard so many different stories going around school, but a few people I know said he flirted with them. Im on the red team and dont know him well but he seemed fine at bastketball tryouts. The world sure can be surprising.

Posted by: LPMSobserver Location: Monument on Dec 25, 2007 at 11:53 AM
Shoddy police work can occur in any case. Sounds like there is no physical evidence in this case, just "he said she said," which sounds weak at best. Many people in the community seem to believe Mr. Jackson is innocent. If Mary and Bob are incorrect, the girls families will be open to a huge lawsuit. This just occurred in Seattle. A teacher was accused of similar charges, they were unable to make the case, but his career was destroyed anyway. He was awarded a large sum of money from his accusers families.

Posted by: Jamie Location: Colorado Springs on Dec 23, 2007 at 11:33 PM
What's to say that they even collected the evidence properly? We have a 6yr old who came forward and told the police that a man that lives with his "mental father" had performed sexual acts on him and another child in that house. The evidence is there and yet CSPD is prosecuting us because this man passed a lie detector test and they never gave him a preditor test. We had our child ripped out of our house on Friday because they are telling us that we are the ones telling him to say these things. The police even told him that we are the bad people. They system is majorly flawed when they blame the victims instead of following the evidence.

Mary is correct. Here is the link to the arrest warrant: http://krdo.images.worldnow.com/images/INCOMING/Jenn/gregory_jackson.doc

I agree it is going to be inhteresting on the news if he was guilty or innocent. i will be looking for more facts/ information about this sence. basiclly if he would of touched them they would of took there clothing and gaved them different ones, they would take there clothing and seach for DNA finger prints that match Mr.Jacksons finger prints ( for Proof.)

My experience has been that girls of this age have a "pack mentality." They take great pleasure in creating grief and havoc for others; to include their peers as well as those in positions of authority. As an individual person, they withdraw into their world of denial and self doubt. It is only when they have the "suppoort of their girl friends" do they feel impowered. Separate the accusers and question them individually. Then, and only then, will the truth be told!

Posted by: Mary Location: Monument on Dec 22, 2007 at 06:05 PM
This is not about Mr Jackson being "weird". He has violated two teenage female girls who were strong enough to speak up and say this was wrong-there are more but they are too afraid to say anything. There are more. Do you really think he did this in front of other people so they would see it? It was discreet. He has has gone too far! Read the arrest warrant and you will see the evidence. It is public information. It is not only the physical grabbing, but his sexual comments as well. You think he "wouldn't do something like that"..well obviously there is evidence that says he did. You think you can tell a sexual predator by looking at someone. They try no to get caught. It will be interesting to watch as the facts come out about this case.

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on Dec 22, 2007 at 04:01 PM
Just so you know..all of the girls were 8th graders...maybe all friends...maybe they planed this...Hope Mr.Jackson is innocent!

Posted by: Amber Location: Monument on Dec 22, 2007 at 03:15 PM
Everyone i know he was a very nice teacher.. but saying things that are not true is not any help for evidence! didnt you see him saying i love you alot! meaning it as a joke..but maybe he was not kidding! Always on the girls side! why not the guys side? see..my point

Posted by: Amber Location: moument on Dec 22, 2007 at 02:56 PM
I was in the class of Mr.Jackson the worst he has even done ( that i saw ) was he would say " i love you " or " thats right honey " Hope that helps!

Posted by: Gary Location: monument on Dec 22, 2007 at 06:15 AM
I agree, Forrest. He wouldn't do something like that, and if he did it would've been an accident. I think the girls are making it up, even if it says one is in a position of trust.

Posted by: Gary Location: Monument on Dec 21, 2007 at 08:28 PM
This stinks. Mr. Jackson was my math teacher, and my geography teacher was a good friend of Mr. Jackson's and was in a sad mood today (12-21-07). I'm not too happy about it, either. He was one of my fav teachers and then this....

Posted by: Forrest Location: monument on Dec 21, 2007 at 07:52 PM
i am mr jacksons teacher and i am with him in math and everyone really misses him he was awesome he would not do something like thayt

Posted by: jen Location: monument on Dec 21, 2007 at 02:27 PM
the two girls who are accusing him should be highly ashamed. Everyone knows that Jackson is not that kind of man and that he desperately loves his job and woudl never do anything to get fired. I'm pretty sure those girls are making things up becuase they don't get along with Jackson very well. All i can say is that a good portion of Jackson's former students highly disagree with what has happened becuase we all know him too well. And we all know that he wouldn't even think about touching middle school girls. well all hope everything works out... best of wishes from all!

Shalyn, as a teacher I have to correct you - salmon is a fish - Salem is what you were looking for. It's the Salem Witch Trials.

mr.jackson is awesome! the students at lpms is missing him and hope that he can come back!

Posted by: Bill from Boston Location: Fountain on Dec 21, 2007 at 09:35 AM
Hello. Let's wait and see what the evidence shows; I only hope that polygraphs are part of the process. Considering he is now in jail, I would expect the evidence to be rather strong. Seaan: if you thought this was going to happen all along, why did you not report anything to anyone??? Lastly, I would like folks to know that if you send mail, and it's rife with spelling and grammatical errors, it just doesn't seem to have much credibility, at least from my perception. It appears that these notes are coming from high school age kids which rather supports the perception that our schools are dumbing kids rather than educating them. I may seem to be whining yet some of the notes just seem goofy. Oh, regarding the "Salmon" witch trial, does anyone smell something fishy...???!!! Bye and God Bless. Bill

Posted by: jamie Location: springs on Dec 21, 2007 at 05:48 AM
i just want to say shut the heck up shalyn you dont know what a man can do.. you defending him and he could be in the wrong do you libe with him do you knwo his thoughts where you there no him and those girls were so dont say what kind of person he is

Posted by: Shalyn Location: monument on Dec 20, 2007 at 08:24 PM
This should of not of happen. I was one of those girls who at first thought he was weird but once i got to know him he was a great teacher, friend, and coach. I was on his volleyball team and basketball team... and their was nothing like that going on!! He just wants to have fun and play the game. I think that this case is just like the Salmon Witch Trial! Because just a couple of weeks ago i helped him out with his volleyball team and there was nothing like that! i have known him for 4 years now and he tells me a lot of stuff and thats defiantly not him at all! I think that it was just two girls who didn't like him and wanted to get him fired.

Posted by: Seaan Location: Colorado on Dec 20, 2007 at 07:22 PM
I go to this school, and know this teacher personally, He was also my football coach. This seems like it was going to happen all along and now it did...

I heard Wasson High Schools wrestling coach was fired for sexual assault on a female wrestler to.
