Some scary hours Monday morning for workers at the Canon City post office.
About 6:15 in the morning, a postal employee noticed white powder in a mail bin.
The fire department was called and a sample was taken and tested.
It turns out the powder was sugar.
A postal inspector says all mail is tested coming into the state. But other tests are performed as a precaution at the facility.
