Luk 6:22 "Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!" Luk 6:27-28 "But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you." Our thoughts and prayers are with the Work family, the families of the victims at YWAM, those injured at both shootings, and for the Murray Family. (Romans 8:36-39) As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our hearts & prayers go out to all those affected by this. Our children go to church and they try to help folks that have less than we do (world wide)they try to make everyday life better for all. My heart grives for the "Works" family and for what they will be going through. As a community we must band together and help all those in need. My son is a member of New LIfe Church and it has changed him for the better his love for God and fellow mankind has forever changed us all. Please I ask all that can pray for them and send a card let them know we here in Colorado Springs care. I would also like to thank "Jeanne" if not for her stepping in between it could have been a lot worse. May God bless all now and forever.

My teen-age daughter has many friends whoi attend that church. Does anyone know if the two young victims attended a local high school?

My heart goes out to the people that were shot at the church shooting and especially to the partents and family of the two girls. Having lost a daughter I know the anquish that it causes. All I can say is that we need to pray every day and thank the lord for what he has given us and to give us understand for such un-believable things as this. God bless us all and especially the familys of the victoms.

To the "FEMALE" security guard, a big thank you for saving many lives. You are a brave lady. You deserve a medal for your actions under fire.

you guys should spend less time criticizing the news station, and more time praying for those whose lives were radically changed by this tragedy. think about the people you know, your daughters, mothers, and sisters. What if they were the ones who had died, and you were the one who lived? I think the fact that the guard was a female is irrelevant compared to the prayers we need to be giving for those who lost family members and the grief they must be going through.

I think the security officer did her job.. regardless if the officer was male/female doesnt matter...woman can save lives too...we need to focus on the families and our community...we cant go anywhere anymore without wondering if someone is going to go crazy. We need to stick together as a community and as a whole United States as we deal with everything that has been going on in our wonderful country. Take time to say hello to everyone you see walking past you on the street or in the store. That person could be the next gunman and if you smile and say hello you may have just saved a lot of lives that day. God Bless

What a sad, sad statement of one's character and the complete disregard for life. It sickens me that whether it be a mall, church, or a school, we must be afraid of some poor put-upon spoiled sub-human piece of garbage to gun us down! Unfortunately, this is becoming more frequent and common. Thank you for that security guard and her quick response!!! There would be many more heart wrenching funerals to attend if it weren't for her! I hope that the church as well as the community reaches out and embraces the Works family in this unimaginable horrific time! My thoughts go out to the Works Family as well as the security officer and all the others injured.

Yes the security guard was female. Yes it's appropriate that the station mentioned that, listen next time you watch the news and notice how often they reference the person as a man. If this is seriously what you are going to comment on get a life.
