The state's next attorney general hopeful will have to face some tough questions of his own.
Former U.S. Attorney John Suthers will meet with state senators Monday in his confirmation hearing.
The line of questioning will range from his position on water laws to an ethics investigation of his office. His resume and experience should also be up for debate.
Suthers, who is a Republican, Is in a unique position because both chambers of the state legislature are Democratically controlled... the first time in more than 40 years.
He plans to take over for Ken Salazar who left the office for the U.S. Senate seat.
