Barring Testimony

University of Colorado attorneys want to seal a deposition from a private investigator who looked into whether the school used alcohol and sex to lure recruits into their football program.

CU lawyers have requested a federal judge to bar the testimony of Steve Snyder. He was hired by the independent panel during the scandal last year.

Snyder was deposed as part of a lawsuit filed by former student Lisa Simpson who claimed she was raped by players and recruits at a 2001 party.

The school's attorneys say Snyder's testimony relies on hearsay because he was not a firsthand witness.
