The Colorado Supreme Court says accident victims don't have to turn over extensive medical histories if they file lawsuits for pain and suffering -- only the records related to the injuries covered by their suits.

The ruling came in a case against an Aspen grocery store where a man was hurt three years ago.

The court says plaintiffs waive only some of their rights to medical confidentiality when they file injury lawsuits
