Kobe Bryant may be answering questions in just a few weeks about his encounter with the hotel worker who accused him of rape.

The questioning would be part of her lawsuit against the basketball star.

At a first hearing today in federal court in Denver, Bryant's attorneys listed 125 potential witnesses. The accuser's attorney wants to question, or depose, at least 35 of them, including Bryant.

No trial date has been set, but the lawyers indicated it's at least six months away. The judge asked them to work together to reduce the number of expert witnesses. He also wants an estimate of potential damages from the plaintiff within a month.

The accuser may file an additional suit in California, Bryant's home, but that wasn't discussed. Neither Bryant nor the woman was in court.
