A new poll done for the Rocky Mountain News and K-C-N-C-Television says 39 percent of the respondents support Republican Senator Wayne Allard in Colorado's Senate race and 35 percent back Democratic challenger Tom Strickland. The poll was done by Talmey-Drake Research and Strategy and has a sampling error margin of four-point-four percentage points. A similar poll in August showed Allard leading 42 percent to 34 percent. In the most recent poll -- four percent said they support Libertarian Rick Stanley, 18 percent said they were undecided and three percent refused to indicate a preference.
