The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is investigating a dead body found near Hugo on Thanksgiving day.

Lincoln County Sheriff Tom Nestor could release few details, but told 11 News an area rancher discovered the man's body along County Road 11. The body was sitting in the passenger side of a car.

According to the Sheriff, the victim hasn't been identified but is a Mexican national, believed to be in his early 20's, and lived in Colorado Springs.

The death has not been ruled a murder, but authorities are calling it suspicious.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

The term formerly was simply "illegal". The media loves to color the language but for what purpose?
