Spending Limit

Could there be an end to the rising cost of education at the University of Colorado? Maybe, at least for a little while.

CU officials are considering implementing a "fixed-tuition plan" which could raise costs by as much as 25 percent but guarantees no increases for the next 5 years.

A new state law allows colleges to establish such plans.

If approved by CU officials, the plan could start as early as next fall.
