One Last Campaign Stop

Vice President Dick Cheney is returning to Colorado for a last minute campaign visit.

Cheney plans to attend a Republican National Committee victory rally in Colorado Springs on Monday morning, the day before Election Day. The rally will be held at the Penrose Equestrian Center.

Cheney was just in Colorado last weekend, when he stopped in Grand Junction for a rally at the airport. Former President George H.W. Bush and his twin granddaughters visited Denver on Thursday.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore will be in Denver Saturday evening for a get-out-the-vote rally at the Paramount Theater downtown.

Gore will be joined by Eli Pariser, head of the MoveOn Political Action Committee which opposes President Bush.

It's one of series of events the group has planned in states seen as crucial to deciding who will win the presidential election Tuesday.

Reform Party vice presidential candidate Peter Miguel Camejo, who's running with Ralph Nader, was also scheduled to speak Friday night at a rally in Denver.
