Pay Raise?

The University of Colorado answers questions about money given to head football coach Gary Barnett.

School administrators say $60 thousand given to Barnett was not a pay raise for running a summer camp.

They say the money came from the athletic department's auxiliary funds which are collected from ticket sales, TV revenues, and fees.

According to CU, the money makes up for a drop in income from his Nike shoe contract.

Barnett receives $200 thousand a year for the camp on top of $1 million he makes for coaching the team.
