An 11-year-old boy is recovering after being hit by a car Friday morning.
According to police, the child was walking down Oro Blanco on his way to school, and didn't see a car making a left turn onto Oro Blanco from Splendid Circle. Police say the driver didn't see the boy as she was turning.
The impact knocked the boy down, but he didn't suffer any major injuries. The driver stayed on scene to help.
The driver will likely not be ticketed.
