Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer will likely be fined five thousand dollars for wearing a sticker on his helmet honoring former teammate Pat Tillman.
Tillman is the former Arizona Cardinals safety who walked away from the NFL to join the U.S. Army Rangers and fight in Afghanistan. He was was killed in action in April.
Plummer says he will ask the NFL to give the fine money to the Pat Tillman Foundation, which was set up to honor him after his
Plummer received a previous warning and he removed the decal
before last week's game. That decision upset him and he decided to
wear the sticker suring Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, knowing he would get fined.
