Colorado a Hot Spot for Upcoming Election

President Bush returns to Colorado, in an attempt to bolster his support and raise money for GOP Senate candidate Peter Coors.

At a fund-raiser at the former Lowry Air Force Base Monday afternoon, President Bush said he needs Coors in the Senate to push theRepublican agenda and confirm his nominees for federal judgeships.

Monday night, President Bush will appear at a campaign rally at Red Rocks before travelling to Colorado Springs on Tuesday for an appearance at the World Arena.

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry's daughter Alex is making several stops in metro Denver Monday to campaign for her father.
Kerry's running mate John Edwards will be in Commerce City Tuesday for a town hall meeting at Adams City High School.
