It's been a little more than a week since the state's new computer system issued it's first set of welfare benefits. But bugs in the program continue to cause huge problems, especially for those dependent on Medicaid.
Take for example, Kelly Bull. She recently moved here with her husband whose job doesn't offer medical insurance.
Delays have kept her from getting Medicaid. She says she understands the computer is slowing down the process but trying to get answers from the Department of Human Services has been frustrating.
"They really haven't given me an excuse at all. It's really hard to get through to anybody to talk to in person."
She says the worst part is being new to the area and not knowing where to go for help.
