Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry jokingly says his beer options are limited in Colorado.
Kerry told a crowd in Denver that's because the beers share the name with Republican candidates, at least phonetically. There's Busch beer and Colorado's own Coors beer.
Kerry is in Colorado for two days of secluded preparations for
the second debate with President Bush. The debate is Friday night.
Kerry says he was offered a Coors beer on his flight to Denver. He told a partisan crowd at the airport that he declined because he backs Democrat Ken Salazar.
Republican Pete Coors is on leave as chief executive of the Coors Brewing Company to run against Salazar for Colorado's open
U-S Senate seat.
