Harvard and Colorado College graduate student Alexander Pring-Wilson of Colorado Springs testified in his own murder trial Tuesday.

Pring-Wilson is accused of fatally stabbing 18-year-old Michael
Colono in Cambridge Massachusetts in the wee hours of April 12th,
2003. He was heading home from a bar at the time.

He told jurors today he had approached a car Colono was sitting in because he thought the passengers were asking for directions.

He said Colono and Colono's cousin attacked him and he feared for his life when he pulled out his knife.

Colono's cousin and the cousin's girlfriend say Pring-Wilson
started the fight, after overhearing Colono commenting about him
appearing drunk.
