Kobe Bryant's Attorneys Drop Bid to Seal Evidence

Kobe Bryant's attorneys abandon their fight to seal evidence in the NBA star's sexual assault case, saying details will be leaked anyway.

In a court filing on Monday, attorney Pamela Mackey says releasing all the documents would reveal how unprofessional the prosecution was.

Mackey alleges "unlawful or improper conduct'' by law enforcement officers and prosecutors throughout the case, including the suppression of evidence suggesting Bryant was innocent.

Prosecution spokeswoman Krista Flannigan did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

District Attorney Mark Hurlbert dropped the felony sexual assault charge against Bryant this month after the accuser said she
didn't want to go forward.
