Voter Registration

There's more and more people interested in voting in Colorado.

Since March, more than 120-thousand new voters have registered in the state. State records show that's a higher number than registrations from 1990 to 1994.

Democrats are gaining ground on Republicans. In March, the G-O-P had more than 186-thousand more voters. Now, they have about
178-thousand more.

Political consultant Eric Sondermann says that could help Democrats on November second, because there's a few close elections.

Republicans comprise 37 percent of Colorado voters, followed by unaffiliated voters at 32 percent and Democrats at 31 percent.

Colorado now has almost three (m) million voters.

The last day to register for the November election is October
