A man was found dead Friday morning inside a condo on Delmonico Drive, just south of Rockrimmon Boulevard. Police said Saturday it is now under investigation as the city's 18th homicide in 2010.

The man has been identified as Stephan Wilson, 32, of Colorado Springs. An autopsy indicates he was shot in the head.

Police tell 11 News they were called to condo #101 at the Rockrimmon Condominiums around 9 p.m. Thursday night because of a noise complaint.

When officers arrived, they couldn't make contact with anyone inside, so they left the scene and notified management about the complaint. The loud noise coming from either a television or stereo inside the condo reportedly continued all night, and Friday morning around 9 a.m. another complaint was made.

The property management decided to enter the apartment Friday morning. That's when Wilson was found dead. The property management then called police.

Police also identified a car in the parking lot associated with the death, but have not said how it is linked.

Neighbor Jerry Bianchi says regardless of the murder, neighbors are not fearful and feel this is an isolated incident, "it's a secure complex, that's one of the reasons why we've bought here and have enjoyed it, very quiet, peaceful".

There were 17 homicides in Colorado Springs at this time last year.
