Colorado Springs police say a school bus and car have collided on Research Parkway and Rangewood Drive around 7 a.m. Thursday. Eastbound Research Parkway was partially blocked at that intersection but has now been cleared.
Police say 10 students from D-20 were on the bus at the time of the accident. No one was hurt. Police say the bus was hit when another car went through a red light. The driver of the car has been ticketed.
The students were picked up at the scene by another school bus and taken to school.

Ahhhh all the lame stories that make the news in this town.....if a bear farted in the woods they would write a story about it....my bus driver used to run over stop signs and put the bus in the ditch on a regular basis....then she would claim that a black panther had temporarily taken control of the bus......this town sucks....and if i didnt make so much money off all you idiots i would leave....that was in preparation for you lame comebacks

I saw this accident. The car was broadsided and the man looked to be in his 60s. So I don't see that there was any rear ending going on. He paid a good price because his car was mangled; the entire side was smashed in by the bus. He won't be driving his comvertible for a looooong time!

I think people who run red lights should have their driving privileges suspended for awhile and then maybe they would get the point!! If they don't get it the first time or two then just flat out revoke them!
