The Balloon Classic at Memorial Park is Colorado Springs has been grounded due to strong winds.

The hot air balloons in the park had originally been scheduled to lift off at 7 a.m. Monday. Some pilots on the ground tell 11 News the launch will not be rescheduled.

There will still be some events Monday morning at Memorial Park.
