Fourteen-year-old Tanyel is this week's Wednesday's Child. She's an animal lover who got a chance to visit with all sorts of different animals at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

"I like animals a lot, so I would like someone that likes animals also," said Tanyel.

This teen says besides animals, she's a talented artist. She likes to draw, write poems and loves to decorate cakes.

"I actually want to go back into cake decorating or be animal worker," said Tanyel.

That's when she grows up. But right now, she's looking for a loving family who wants to adopt her.

"I think I'd do better by myself, but I don't mind other kids," said Tanyel.

Tanyel has an older brother who means the world to her. She says she could get used to living in a new home with other siblings as long as they like animals as much as she does.
