Trial Begins

The murder trial for a Colorado College graduate is set to begin Monday.

Twenty-six year-old Alexander Pring-Wilson is accused of killing a teenager in Massachusetts in April of 2003.

At the time, he was attending grad school at Harvard University.

Authorities say Pring-Wilson stabbed 18 year-old Michael Colono 5 times after an argument. But his attorney says Pring-Wilson was just defending himself.

Colorado Springs Police also are waiting for the outcome of this trial. Detectives say they want to get a DNA sample from him for Jocelyn Sandberg's murder.

She was the operations manager for KRCC Radio who was killed on campus in 2002.

Police believe both murders are similar in nature.
