Fightin' Words

The war over words begins. Senate candidates Ken Salazar and Pete Coors battled and called each other names in their first debate in Grand Junction Saturday night.

Democrat Calazar says Republican control of the White House and Capitol Hill hurts rural America and leaves 750 thousand Coloradons with no jobs or health insurance.

Republican Coors says Democrats want a government with too much power and policies that are too bureaucratic.

The two are going after the Senate seat vacated by Ben Nighthorse Campbell.
