A 10-year-old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a Jeep while walking to school.
The accident happened at Woodland Hills and Beechwood in northeast Colorado Springs, near Rangewood and Woodmen. The boy was walking to Pioneer Elementary School at the time. Police say the school was notified about the accident.
Police tell 11 News the driver will not be ticketed because the boy was not in a crosswalk when he crossed the street.
The boy was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be fine.
