A man is recovering today after hitting a snow plow with his SUV.
The crash happened near Boulder on highway 93.
48-year-old Arthur Griffin was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the wreck. He suffered serious but non life threatening injuries.
State patrol tells us he was cited for careless driving.
The snow plow driver was not hurt.

One person has been injured in a crash between a snowplow and another vehicle near Boulder.
Colorado State Patrol says the person injured early Monday is expected to survive but sustained serious injuries.
We’re told the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling southbound in Highway 93, near Highway 128, when it lost control and entered the northbound lane. That’s when the Chevrolet collided head-on with a northbound CDOT snow plow.
Colorado Highway 93 was closed for a short period while investigators tried to determine the cause of the crash and clear the highway.
The plow driver was not injured.
Alcohol and drug use are not suspected as contributing factors, however speed is being considered.
