Police have one person in custody after a short chase in Colorado Springs Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect was reportedly driving a stolen vehicle and hit a police car as he was trying to get away. No officers were injured and neither was the suspect, according to police.

The pursuit ended at Pikes Peak and Swope, near Memorial Park. That's where the suspect was taken into custody.

One witness tells us that during the chase, the suspect nearly hit her with his car.

The suspect's name has not been released. Police say he will likely face a number of charges, including vehicular eluding.
