DENVER (AP) -- Colorado lawmakers say they're making progress this year with an agenda to create jobs promoting renewable energy.

They're citing a half-dozen bills that are moving toward passage, including measures that encourage schools to invest in clean energy, provide tax incentives for solar hot water, build transmission lines and allow local governments to get federal help for clean energy projects.

Lawmakers have six days left before they are required to adjourn and the bills have a good chance of becoming law.
