2013 American Veterans Rally

Posted: 08/16/2013 - Thousands of veterans will be descending on Cripple Creek this weekend for the American Veterans Rally. There are a number of events open to the public that you can attend! The rally runs from Friday through Sunday, and will include a special POW-MIA Memorial Highway dedication at noon Saturday. Other events include: -the POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony, which organizers call the "centerpiece of the event" and urge rally attendees not to miss. It will be held immediately after the highway dedication. -26th annual POW/MIA Recognition Ride Saturday morning, which will utilize the newly dedicated highway for the first time. -2013 Veterans Rally free concert series -Veterans Poker Run on Friday -Saturday Night Street Dance at intersection of 2nd Street and Bennett.
