Tips to Prepare your vehicle for cold weather: (From Allstate Insurance Co.)
-Be sure to get your engine checked out if you are experiencing hard starts, stalls or other problems.
Windshield wiper blades that are not making full contact with the window, or that are cracked and dried out, should be replaced. Also, be sure to keep extra windshield washer fluid and an ice scraper in your car.
Keep a cold weather safety kit in your car that includes gloves, boots, blankets, flares, water and a flashlight.
Examine your tires for tread life and uneven wearing. Also, be sure tires are properly inflated. Tires lose a pound of pressure for every 10 degrees the temperature drops.
Be sure the heater and defroster in your car are working properly to ensure passenger comfort and driver visibility.
The cooling system should be flushed every two years with a 50-50 mixture of antifreeze and water. Have the level, condition and concentration of the antifreeze mixture checked periodically.
Have your mechanic check your battery fluid levels, battery posts and cable connectors. Bad connections can keep your car from starting.
Brakes should be checked as recommended, but if you are noticing pulsations, noises or longer stopping distances, get a mechanic to look at them right away.
Make sure all lights and bulbs are in proper working order and replace any burned-out bulbs.

The scam locks up your computer and asks for two hundred dollars to fix the problem.
The screen looks officials. It has the F-B-I logo and says “this operating system is locked due to a violation of federal laws"
The screen says "you have 72-hours to pay or you will be arrested".
The F-B-I is getting thousands of complaints about this worldwide… and issued this warning online:
"The FBI will never insist that you need to pay a fine to the FBI to unlock it. That's not a law enforcement tactic."
But the problem is your computer really is locked; even restarting won't get rid of the screen.
This virus is called reveton (rev-it-on) ransomware.
Ransomware because it requests money.
Scammers use it in connection with other malware, so unlocking your computer doesn't mean you're done with this invasion.
What makes this scam particularly frightening is that it's a drive-by virus...
You can pick it up just by surfing the web and there's no way to know which sites are infected.
But you can protect yourself by getting an anti-virus program that has browser protection such as fsecure.
www.fsecure.com
And if you want to take more steps to make sure nothing else is hidden its suggested you run multiple scans, free ware like mal bytes and easy clean by F secure are good options. Because certain types of malware can capture personal information like user names, passwords, and credit card numbers.

Experts say if it strikes your computer , don't try to fix it yourself unless you are sure that you can.
The more time you spend trying, the more the virus spreads.
It shouldn't be an expensive repair - less than a hundred bucks if you don't mess with it.
