Donate Christmas decorations, cooking/baking utensils, dishes,flatware and more! Donations can be new or gently used. Bring your goods to the Sundance Mountain Athletic Center at 1808 Woodmoor Dr in Monument. Volunteers will be there to accept your donations from 10am-3pm on Tuesday, Nov. 26th, Wednesday, Nov. 27th and Friday, Nov. 29th.
Posted: 11/25/2013 - You can drop off turkeys at any Panera Monday until closing. Or most of the day Tuesday at Care and Share from 8-5pm. Turkeys must be frozen, not thawed or fresh. Care and Share address: 2605 Preamble Point, Colorado Springs You can also text "turkey" to 41010 and that will donate $10. That $10 will be added to you next cellphone bill. It will provide one turkey to a family in need. You can text up to 5 times a day.

The local nonprofit, The Home Front Cares is collecting funds to help provide immediate, emergency relief to Colorado veterans in need. Many soldiers return home to find their benefits take months to kick in, leaving them in a precarious financial situation.
