Candidates are making the final push for the White House with just 8 days left until November 4th. While Senators John McCain and Barack Obama are visiting battleground states, celebrities are working on the campaign trail.

Kevin Costner was in the Springs Monday afternoon at Colorado College rallying Democrats. "I think the fabric of America is to participate in this democratic process," Coster told students and fans.

Jon Voight was supposed to be in Denver for the Republicans. He apparently missed his plane Monday night. "I think it's fine Kevin Costner supports Obama. McCain has lots of supporters," said El Paso County Republican Party spokesman, Nathan Fisk.

Michelle Obama will be in the Springs Tuesday afternoon. John McCain told 11 News that he will return to Colorado before the election.

I'm appalled Obama is having Kevin Costner speak on his behalf to our youth. Kevin Costner exposed himself to a masseuse on his honeymoon, held her wrist so she could not escape and then preceeded to have a happy ending in front of her. This is NOT the kind of person that should be addressing our youth. This makes me question Obama's stance on women's rights? Or is it more important to have a Hollywood actor PR for him, then to respect women.
