The son of Robert F. Kennedy is headed to Boulder to campaign for Barack Obama.

Robert Kennedy Jr. meets with voters at a house Thursday afternoon afternoon and then will knock on doors asking people to support the Democratic nominee. The Obama camp says the house party is open to the public and that Kennedy will be back in Colorado for more campaigning Saturday, though details are not available.

Kennedy lives in Los Angeles and is head of the environmental group Waterkeeper Alliance. He'll be joined in Boulder by the President of the United Farm Workers, Arturo Rodriguez.

Obama aides say Kennedy and Rodriguez are touring Colorado and New Mexico to talk about environmental concerns in the West.

I'm a widow with 4 kids, 2 in college, 2 I home school, Mother, and the GOV will be controlling you in the long run. Obama already wants to FINE us if we don't mandate his health control, Mccain asked him 3 times in the debate what that fine would be and each time he evaded the answer, that's what Donald is referring to and Robert, what do you think Abortion and same sex marriage contribute to ? The decline of morality, and who supports that primarily ? Democrats, especially Obama, anytime a nation can support BORN ALIVE, it's a serious decline in morality, and Science has yet to disprove my religion. Extreme... Hm. Never did I think I would live to see female celebrities lip locked on the cover of a popular magazine or hear of parents who are in despair because their teenage girl killed their grandchild without their knowledge or consent. At one tme that would have been thought to be "extreme". We become numb and accepting to immorality and those voicing against it are now the 'extreme

All I hear is that if the dems win, christianity loses, how about if the republicans win,we all lose! With the patriot act, your private phone calls are no longer private. If you own a business, you can't say who can use a legal product on your premises! You can be declared a terrorist and detained indefinitely with no access to due process! The only thing i see under attack is the constitution!

There are some serious right wing radicals on these boards that have some major issues that go way beyond who is going to be president...if you like the way things are and where we are going as a country then vote for McCain....if you don't and would like a new set of eyes running our country, then vote for Obama...some of you need to stop spreading your hate and propaganda on these boards!!

Kay, I can say that because as a single mom who raised three kiddos on my own, I made sure I instilled within them certain values and beliefs which would ensure I was setting free into the world good productive, smart, accepting, tolerant, loving adults who love their community and themselves. I worked as a team with my community and my children's schools and taught them to make decisions they could live with. I didn't raise them to be close-minded and judgemental. What my point is, is that we cannot depend on the Gov. to teach our children. We have to. And, if there are same sex marriage pamphlets in public school and I disagree, guess what? I have a choice to take the kids out, or leave them in and teach them what I believe they should know. Stopping behavior which takes away from traditional family BEGINS IN THE HOME, NOT THE GOV. So no matter if its McCain or Obama....our world will be what it will be...it's prophecy that it will continue to decline. That was my point.

Donald and Kay, people will always have faith in something. Doesn't matter if you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish or another other religion. I have no belief in any religion because I have no willingness to be controlled by rules written thousands of years ago. Does that make me immoral? Does that mean I don't know what is the difference between right and wrong? No! To say that being a liberal will decline the morality of our country is a completely stupid statement. In our great country, we can agree to disagree all we want. I happen to disagree with you both completely. To say that being a liberal means you will kill an unborn child is garbage. I'm a Democrat, I really don't want to kill a baby. That's just not for me. Donald, to believe that you will lose your freedom to say and believe what you want is ludicrous. The only reason you are able to say what you can is because we do in fact have these freedoms! They aren't leaving. Both of you have way too extreme beliefs, & it scares me.

I think our children are already the big losers due to the incompetence of the last 8 years. It's really hard to think of any thing that went well. I'm certainly not proud of our govt's response to Katrina. I'm ashamed of the administration's total dismissal of science and reason. I don't think Enron was good for the country. The list goes on and on. Bush was too cozy with the rich, with the religious fanatics, and with the war hawks and the country is much worst off. Our children will be paying off Bush's war and CEO bailout for the rest of their lives. Probably their children as well. It's time to kick the GOP out. They have failed us, and did it in such an extreme way, I would have not believed it was possible.

How can you sat that Mother, when it's people like Obama who support same sex marriage and is lobbying for that type of material to be available in schools. Until we stop behavior that takes away from traditional family, such as murdering the unborn, and on top of this Obama wants to mandate and FINE people who don't follow his health care plan ? What will he order us to do next or worse, take away from the American people ?

In case you may think I’m a “the sky is falling” type of person, you should know: When it comes to predictions, I am a very reserved person. But not on this one. I cannot overstate the damage a liberal victory will do to our country. The upcoming election is the most important in the history of our nation. Yes, if the liberals win you will lose some of your religious freedoms and free speech rights. Churches and pastors will not be exempt. You will not be allowed to say certain things about a particular group. Every item of the homosexual agenda will be approved. All the laws protecting the unborn will be wiped away. I cannot overemphasize the importance of the Nov. 4 election. That is why I urge you to vote and encourage your family members, friends, Sunday School class and church members to vote. America’s future – the future of your children and grandchildren – is at stake.

Well, Donald, no matter who wins, there is going to be "hostility towards people of faith, especially Christians". No matter who wins, "The morals of our nation will continue to decline." I don't think its a question of "if the liberals win", but a question of accountability within the home. Perhaps, you address issues which will occur due to the family foundation cracking rather than the liberals winning. And, I don't think the point you are trying to make is a fair one, nor a true one.

Does anyone else have a clue why an 'American" would change his name from Barry to a Muslim sounding name like Barack ?

The upcoming election is the most critical election in the history of our nation. The very future of our nation’s foundation is at stake. Every person will be affected. If the liberals win, then our foundation will no longer be based on the traditional Judeo-Christian morality. It will gradually but assuredly be based on an ever shifting, ever moving foundation. If the liberals win, the damage can’t be stopped with elections two, four or forty years from now. America will forever be changed. We will keep seeing a gradual and growing hostility toward people of faith, especially Christians. The morals of our nation will continue to decline. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price. In case you may think I’m a “the sky is falling” type of person, you should know: When it comes to predictions, I am a very reserved person. But not on this one. I cannot overstate the damage a liberal victory will do to our country. The upcoming election is the most important in the history.
