Republican John McCain is calling Democratic rival Barack Obama a liar.

The GOP presidential candidate told a campaign rally: "Sen. Obama has accused me of opposing regulation to avert this crisis. I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed."

In some of the harshest language yet, McCain said the campaign comes down to a simple question: Who is the real Barack Obama?

McCain drew the loudest cheers when he said the Democrat has written two memoirs but "he's not exactly an open book."

Trailing in the polls, McCain and his advisers say they will hammer that theme as the campaign heads toward the Nov. 4 election.

all republicans do is support big businesses. They stand on the shoulders of the hard working middle class. The country was at its best when Clinton was in office, though I didn't much care for him. But ever since Bush went into office this country has gone down the toilet and the whole world hates us. So I guess if you're stingy and care about no one about yourself, vote for McCain. If you want to see more bailouts for the rich, vote for McCain. At least democrats have a tendency to look out for the middle class majority. And let me tell you something, if only the super rich are being taken care of, we're ALL going to be welfare cases. And you'll have voted for a jerk that takes money away from welfare programs. And you'll be begging for money and food for your family but you won't get any because you voted to support the super rich and they are all stingy jerks who don't want a dime of their taxes put into welfare. Think about that.

It is obvious how racist some of you are. And that is making you so afraid. As far as an Arab nation, obviously you've never been down south...and having said that, what are you so afraid of? Until you people stop seeing color (and my skin is as white as snow), you are going to hide behind any issue you can and even make some issues up just so you don't have to admit its a race issue. You make me sick

Obama needs to step down and let Biden and Hillary run on the Democratic ticket. Obama is going to turn our country into an Arab nation. Aren't you people knowledgeable to know that?

Obama has a history of not answering, flip flopping, hiding, conning, and smooth talk. I hope the truth of his character keeps coming out. You cannot run a country on show boating, lying, and no experience. He truly does not care about the American people or this country.
