The highly anticipated vice presidential debate is over and people around the country are mulling over the candidates' performances.

And a couple of quick polls suggest Joe Biden pulled ahead. A CBS News/Knowledge Networks Poll of uncommitted voters who watched the debate says 46 percent thought Joe Biden won, with 21 percent siding with Sarah Palin. A CNN poll found respondents judging Biden the winner by a 51 percent to 39 percent margin.

Still, network analysts say Palin stood strong. ABC analyst Donna Brazile said Palin passed an important test, because as she puts it, "there were no moose in the headlight moments."

MSNBC's David Gregory said Biden decided he was not going to take Palin on directly, instead just talking about John McCain's record, even though she had challenged and mocked him.

Most analysts agree that the debate won't be much of a game changer for either campaign.

Tell us what you think by taking the poll and commenting below. We'll read the poll results and some of your comments on air.

Actually, I think they both were capable of a better debate.

So all of you people who think Palin won, did you actually see the debate? Did you really understand what was going on? and finally, did you get all of your opinions from Fox News? In what worls could she have possible WON, not just "made it through" She didnt answer questions, she fowled up facts, and the only thing you got on her is she said :theyre going backwards" which in this country is a good thing! I dont want to keep going the way we are, do you? Prove to me she won if you think so, State why she did. otherwise I assume you are just trollers who don't know what your talking about.

Neither "won." Biden is far more substantive, Palin is a lightweight, shallow woman who was coached to within an inch of her life, & it showed.
